Recommendations & Next Steps
I review the proposed work, scope, pricing and assumptions so you can see what looks reasonable and what needs challenging.
Send the evidence you already have. I’ll assess what it shows, what it doesn’t, and what further information may be needed.
You receive a clear written view of what matters now, what can wait, what questions to ask, and whether specialist input is needed.
Every review is personally assessed from an experienced landlord’s perspective — not generated as generic automated advice.
How the Quote Review Works

Send the contractor quote together with any photos, videos, reports, emails or tenant messages that help explain the issue.
I look at the scope of work, pricing, assumptions and supporting evidence from an experienced landlord’s perspective.
You get practical comments on what appears reasonable, what needs clarification, what questions to ask, and any obvious gaps or concerns.
Proceed, challenge the quote, get another opinion, ask for more evidence or bring in a specialist where appropriate.
Independent Advice. Clear Priorities. No Unnecessary Upselling.
I don’t carry out the work and I don’t earn contractor commission. The review is there to help you make a better-informed decision before approving potentially expensive property work.
About Landlord Rescue
Landlord Rescue was built from direct landlord experience.
For 18 years, I ran an HMO property business in Southampton, covering the full landlord journey — sourcing properties, overseeing refurbishments, finding and letting to tenants, collecting rent, handling maintenance, and dealing with day-to-day issues as the first point of contact.
That experience means I am used to making property decisions from incomplete information — tenant reports, photographs, contractor quotations, conflicting opinions and maintenance histories. I assess issues from a landlord’s perspective: what is actually wrong, what needs doing now, what can wait, what questions should be asked, and when specialist input is genuinely needed.
I was also a former franchise partner with Platinum Property Partners, the UK’s original property investment franchise.
My wife and I have owned rental property in North Shields for several years, and we now live in North Tyneside ourselves. Landlord Rescue is not remote in the sense of being detached from real property ownership — the advice comes from hands-on landlord experience.
Clear information. Sensible priorities. Practical next steps.
